नई दिल्ली (वीकैंड रिपोर्ट) : RBI New Guidelines : Reserve Bank of India (RBI) ने बैंकों के लिये Current Account के नए नियमों को लागू करने की समय सीमा बढ़ाकर 31 अक्टूबर कर दी है. कई छोटी कंपनियों के मालिकों ने खाते बंद होने की शिकायत Government और RBI से की थी. RBI की ओर से जारी बयान में कहा गया है कि Current Account के लिए नए नियमों का उद्देश्य कर्जदारों के बीच लोन अनुशासन लागू करने के साथ-साथ बैंकों को बेहतर निगरानी की सुविधा देना है.
पिछले साल अगस्त में RBI ने Current Bank Account खोलने के लिए नए नियम बनाए थे. इसमें कहा गया था कि लोन लेने वाले का केवल उसी बैंक में चालू खाता हो सकता है जिसमें उसकी कुल उधारी का कम से कम 10% हिस्सा हो. इसके बाद बैंकों ने Customers को E-Mail भेजकर उनके Current Account बंद करने या फ्रीज करने की जानकारी दी. RBI के पुराने निर्देशों के मुताबिक, बैंक ने अपने ग्राहकों से कहा था कि हमारी Branch में अपना Cash Credit / Overdraft Account बनाए रख सकते हैं लेकिन आपका Current Account बंद करना होगा. Cash Credit / Overdraft Account की सुविधा लेते समय इसे मेनटेन नहीं किया जा सकता है. 30 दिन के भीतर अपना Current Account बंद करने की व्यवस्था करें.
RBI New Guidelines : RBI की ओर से जारी सर्कुलर में कहा गया है कि नए नियमों को लागू करने संबंधी मुद्दों को हल करने के लिए उसे बैंकों से कुछ और समय के लिए अनुरोध प्राप्त हुए हैं. जिसके चलते नियमों को लागू करने की समय सीमा को बढ़ाकर 31 अक्टूबर, 2021 कर दिया गया है. इसके जरिए Cash Flow पर नजर रखना और Funds की हेराफेरी पर लगाम कसना है. RBI ने पाया कि मौजूदा Guidelines और Fines के प्रावधानों के बावजूद लोन लेने वाले कई बैंकों में Current Account खुलवाकर Funds की हेराफेरी कर रहे थे. नए नियम का मकसद तो साफ है लेकिन Customers को काफी असुविधा हुई है. एक State Bank के Senior Officer ने ईटी को बताया कि हजारों Accounts बंद करने के लिए मजबूर किया गया है. अगर सभी बैंकों को बात की जाए तो यह संख्या लाखों में हो सकती है.
